Ramon França - Ramon comes from Santa Caterina in the south of Brazil and is 13 years old.. .His first performance was 'Mia Gioconda' and Raul Gil described him as having a 'Peito do Galo' (chest of a cockerel).. . Ramon is a contestant in the competition. He has been thrown out once but was voted back via the internet and has returned singing a very 'tenor' repertoire of songs such as 'Granada' and 'O Sole Mio', Caruso etc. His singing has become very much like Alex Prior although his voice is more powerful. He has had difficulties with the low notes on some of the songs but is now overcoming this problem as his voice is deepening. Recently he has been adding too much vibrato.

Pavarotti has telephoned Ramon and complimented him on his singing ability.

Ramon sings 'Eu já nem sei' on the CD and DVD tribute to the 'Jovem Guarda'. This song was sung by Wandelea in the sixties.
